Rolls-Royce has launched a limited edition version of its Phantom saloon to mark the centenary of its iconic Silver Ghost. Only 25 examples of the limited edition saloon will be built, with each car to feature a special Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament and unique ‘Silver Edition’ labeling.
In tribute to the specifications of the original, the car is finished in a new bespoke paint called Metallic Ghost Silver and includes a host of other special features.
The announcement was made by officials at the largest gathering of Rolls-Royce Silver Ghosts, which took place on Saturday at the carmaker’s headquarters in Goodwood, UK. More than 60 of the historic motor cars, built between 1907 and 1926, were displayed before they embarked on a 17-day, 2000-mile tour.
