PGR4 قادمة في هذا الخريف ..
PGR4 took a step closer to a concrete release date today when Microsoft announced that the game would be launched in Japan this Autumn.
While this won’t strictly have an impact on when we get it, given that Gotham 4 is being developed right here in the UK by Liverpool-based Bizarre Creations, we can probably expect it around the same time, if not slightly sooner.
Hitherto now, Microsoft has maintained the game would be released some time this year (although given how companies like to view ‘years’ as ‘financial years’ this could mean anything up to March 2008), although this is the first indicator of when exactly that will happen. As such, it seems that a release date in October to December time might be in the offing.
As our regular readers will know, we’ve already fallen very much head over heels in love with Forza 2 – by our reckoning, the best racing game on any next gen format – and if there’s one game that could rob it of that prestigious honour, it’s PGR4.
Bizarre has promised that PGR4 will be a considerable step up from the ever-so-slightly-rushed PGR3, with such aspects as dynamically changing weather conditions (which will have an effect on the handling) set to feature, as well as overhauled time attack options. Who knows, maybe it’ll even be rendered at a proper hi-def resolution this time...
