الـ V-STORM من انتاج شركة SDR جاءت لتنتقم من مثيلاتها من فئة الـ KITCARS وذلك عن طريق التقنية العالية ، الصلابة ، الجودة والسعر المنخفض لمنافسيها .
السيارة من تصميم سايمون ديكنز ، وهو انجليزي الأصل صاحب خبرة في تصميم وبناء الـ KITCARS ، حتى أنه على حسب قوله قام بتجميع أول محرك وهو في السن العاشرة الذي كان من نوع TRIUMPH بمساعدة أبيه ، الجديد في هذه السيارة وهو الأول من نوعه أن بها مساحة لثلاث ركاب ذلك أن للمصمم ولدان يعشقان الدخول إلى مضمار مع والدهم .
قاعدة عجلات السيارة مصممة بتقنية الـ SPACE FRAME وبدمج هذه التقنية مع عوارض فولاذية نخرج بنتيجة فعالة من حيث الثبات والصلابة .
السيارة مزودة بمحرك دراجة نارية من نوع V-TWIN (APRILLIA-RSV) على شكل حرف V بسعة 1000سم مكعب وقوة قدرها 143 حصان ، وعزم دوران قدره 101 ، وهو إيطالي الصنع ، ولكن هناك إمكانية تزويد السيارة بمحركات أكبر بحسب الطلب وذلك لرحابة منطقة المحرك .
يتصل المحرك بعدة رؤوس SEQUENTIAL وهي علبة تروس نفسها الخاصة بالمحرك لتوفر التبديل السريع بين السرعات وإعطاء الإحساس بقيادة دراجة نارية .
التصميم الأولي للسيارة يستعمل إطارات من نوع TOYOR888 حجم 205|50|15 SEMISLICK لتتناسب مع الأحوال الجوية في بريطانيا ، تجربة السيارة في الحلبة كانت خيالية ، فالسيارة بإمكانها الوصول من صفر إلى 100 كم في اقل من أربع ثواني والوصول لأقصى سرعة 228 كم في الساعة ، وبفضل نظام التعليق المتطور أصبح التحكم بالسيارة لا يوصف ، الجدير بالذكر أن الجلوس بمقعد القيادة الذي ينتصف السيارة وعلبة التروس يعطي الاحساس الكامل بتجربة سياقة سيارات الفورمولا 1 .

The car is totally built by Simon Dickens who has a very long experience with building kitcars and a family heritage , he worked on the first piston engine called a Triumph at the age of 10 , YES 10 as his mum stated and that is because his father as well was a kit car' enthusiast.
The car:
The car is a mainly a (spaceframe) design with panels to provide strength , stifness and light weight all at the same time , Engine is n Aprillia RSV 1000 V-Twin engine With an output power of about 143Bhp attahced to the apprillia's sequential gearbox and a limited slip differential taken off a Sierra all wheel drive car engine getting that power out on the tarmac with a set of 4 205/50/15 Toyo R888 track semislicks Enabling it to go from zero to hundred kms/hr in less than 4 seconds (its a little bit than that bas yalla 7'aleeh yenbeset) and a maximum speed of 142 miles per hour. and a total weight of less than 500 kgs.
The special thing about the car is its hand made from scratch and It is highly engineered starting from the layout , the design and the finish of the car is so professional. PLUS the new fact is that the car could accomodate three passengers , one driver in the dead middle giving the driver the feel of an F1driver and at the same time having two other passengers and the aim of that was cause the owner has two children whom he wants them to enjoy the ride as well.
Testing the car:
Early morning in birmingham's Curborough sprint course , the track is narrow that would barely take one car , the track is not used for racing of multiple cars at the same time. it was dead cold , that sewage water on t side of the track got frozen, any way the track was damp, the the tires and brakes are new as well. owner took a couple of rounds on the track to get the engine and tires warm .

The car is so rigid and steady, no signs of any flex in the chasis which makes it perfect for tracks , very low clearence , in the passenger seat I really feel I am in an F1 car and I cannot even remember if some one else is sitting with me , very clear view all over right and left and front. from the second I moved the car I oculd feel the tremendous amounts of torque being exerted with this engine. the car felt very nice around corners , very smooth sterling feel , no under steering or over steering , but hard some times to control cause its really powerful . The gear is the amazing part. very smooth shiftings and no delays or drop on the power whenever u shift . 1st gear u should use the clutch and the rest are changing without clutch just as in the new sports modern cars . Whatever gear u are on , u still get power off the thing.
The car is nice for those who want to have fun and standout , and there is a possibility the car could be modified to be street legal by adding brake lights ,front lights and there is already signals in the mirrors. and there is an even lighter weight carbon covers configuration for the track use. Price of the car starts at 15 000 pounds and thats only for the first ten pieces and then the price will go up by 17.5 % taxes because by then he will be designated as a dealer for this prototype. So hurry up and buy one
